Lowther Hall, a private girls’ school in Essendon, was looking to refresh their site and transform it into a dynamic, interactive hub for past, present and prospective school community members.
Wolf saw great scope for the creation of a site that was not only engaging and visually polished, but also accessible to the broader school community. Wolf redeveloped the site completely, implementing useful, real-world dynamic features such as online payment systems, addressing the needs of time-poor parents. The site had to be made fully responsive, a factor that is vital for education websites – parents need to access school information quickly from a range of devices and locations.
Wolf thoroughly refreshed and updated the site, implementing Wolf’s latest CMS, making the site fully responsive.
Visually, Wolf set out to create a visual sense of the school. The design has a lot of pop and energy, with hand-drawn elements adding a bespoke sense of warmth while maintaining the school’s branding and essence.
The site was also formulated as a platform for the use of social media, intranet and other tools like Synergetic. The site utilises rich media, with galleries and interactive school calendars, and features online registrations and payments. The site has been consciously built to be totally scalable in order to future-proof it and keep it robust.
